  We were extremely disappointed by our experience at Castaways. It always has a full parking lot when driving by so we have been wanting to the it out.
  
  We were immediately seated, so that was good news. However, it took about 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The alcoholic beverages were not very tasty.
  
  It took the server a very long time to even take our order. After she did, it took forever for soup and salad to come. And it took even longer for our main course to come.
  
  Okay, so we were patient. Maybe our patience would pay off and it would be the best meal. Um, no. I talked to the five adults in our party and no one liked their food. I had the cod which was okay. Others had fish and chips and another had stuffed shrimp. Again, just okay. My friend ordered the special...some crusted cod. He later said, "I think there was crust on there."
  
  Save your time and money and skip this place.

  As one user said don't let the looks of the place fool you... The food is very good and I really can't figure out why it's not more popular.. Maybe too many people judging a book by it's cover... My only complaint was the service was a little slow... Just had appetizers and Pizza but I was very impressed and will go back especially if there is no wait....
