  As a local I like to go there when I have out-of-town guests visiting. I know that I can count on them having an enjoyable dining experience. I find the fish and chips and the cheeseburger platter to be my favorites. A good menu selection to choose from no matter what your favorites may be. Friendly and efficient waitstaff. Dress up our come as you are.

  Overpriced menu, weak drinks, overworked/rushed staff. Weak drink with 70% ice - they said they'd replace it, instead charged again for a half refill in my same glass. Frozen-cooked fries and mushrooms, sloppy flavorless "home-made" veggie burger. Maybe a better experience if you eat meat, but if a restaurant that's half bar-facing can't nail drinks and fries, I doubt it. We've been here multiple times on family/group outings, so have discovered the clam chowder is great. Do yourself a favor and skip the rest.
